Lee Evans is a Gold Album/award winning Producer/Songwriter/Engineer/Musician and a long time veteran of the music industry. With over 30 years background in the music industry, starting as a child, Lee Evans wrote, arranged, played piano and sang for young harmony group “The Fourth Edition” a group that went on to win amateur night at the Apollo a whopping 6 times, sharing the stage with the likes of Michael Jackson, James Brown, and other legends.
In 1992, Ms. Palmisano became Co-Owner and Administrative Director of JAMBOX Entertainment Studios. Ms. Palmisano has remained instrumental in managing, developing, and consulting the careers of chart topping artists and television personalities, including Song Diva, Lori Michaels- who at the age of 16, started the non-profit organization REACH OUT, Inc. Ms. Palmisano has served as the charity’s Executive Director since its inception in 1989. Under Ms Palmisano’s guidance, REACH OUT, Inc. has touched the lives of millions of people. Due to her high level of administrative work, commitment, and dedication- REACH OUT, Inc. produces programs and projects for/alongside some of the nation’s most noteworthy, charitable organizations. In 2006, Ms. Palmisano also co-founded 4SIGHT Music Productions which went on to produce the classic album “Year Of The Cowboy” by NYC Times Square Icon, The Naked Cowboy (which had its television debut on MTV). Ms. Palmisano started and currently directs the educational careers internship program at JAMBOX ENtertainment which has helped 100s of young interns find direction for their careers. Due to her efforts, JAMBOX Entertainment is considered “a top recording studio in the metropolitan area” by industry professionals.
Ashlee Chanelle is a 2009 honors graduate of the Institute of Audio Research, winner of their 2009 Best Mix Award of her class, and one of their featured alumni. In addition to her studies at IAR, she also took the Women’s Audio Mission SoundChannel and AET Audio Engineering programs.
Ashlee has had the pleasure of either mixing, editing, remixing, collaborating, or doing live sound for artists and performers such as Lori Michaels, The ViiBE Dance Center, curator Victor P. Corona, Lady Starlight (Lady Gaga’s DJ/collaborator), Jason Martin + Power Animal Systems, Andrew Barret Cox, Kayla Yvonne, Breedlove, producer Barb Morrison, R.e.a.P, B3B3′, Mitchell Royel, Zephrah Soto, Gabbie Giftsz, and more.
Alisa Smith is a musician and crafter who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry and Performance from Ramapo College of New Jersey. As a member of the international award winning choirs Skylark, CantaNOVA, and the Ramapo Chorale, Alisa has toured Guam, the Philippines, and Costa Rica.
Alisa has shared the stage with folksinger/songwriter Judy Collins, nine-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion Eileen Ivers & Immigrant Soul, and has performed for international ambassadors including the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic at the United Nations. She has also played clarinet in a variety of local and college theater productions. Alisa’s love for the arts and activism has lead her to pursue her Master’s degree in Media Studies at The New School University.
As a veteran Engineer in New York City for the past 22 years, Peter has worked with some of the best in the business including Sporty Thievz for which he received a Platinum Record credit to his list of accomplishments.
Other gifted artists include Krs One, Big Daddy Kane, M.O.P., Peter Gunz, Jin, Gangstarr, Don Omar, Young B, P-Star, Megan Rochell, MF Grimm, Brooklyn Zu, Webstar and Jim Jones to name a few. His studio training has given him the opportunity to work out of various famous studios such as Power Play Studios, Unique, Quad, KMA, Chung King, D & D, Soundtracks, Daddy’s House, Platinum Sounds, Sony and The Hit Factory.
JKey is a highly acclaimed producer, engineer, vocal arranger, and pianist. Many of his associated acts include Notch, Kat Deluna, Mya, Pitbull, Kumbia All State, Ilegales, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Reggaeton, niños, P-Star, Taio Cruz, DJ Kazzanova, Snoop Dogg, Big Pun, Rah Digga, Wyclef, Beyonce, Don Omar, Zion, Mario, D-mingo, La Republika, Prince Royce, and Andy Andy.
The genres of music he works with varies, from hip hop, R&B, Pop, Salsa and Bachata, to symphonic scoring, house, and techno. JKey is a platinum award winning producer, 12 times Billboard producer, and an Emmy award winner.
Producer, Songwriter and Artist Lex, is the newest member of Jambox’s production team. Based out of Brooklyn, Lex’s songwriting skills and creative production creates cutting edge music that is fresh and modern. Descending from Boston as a student at Berklee College of Music, Lex honed his skills as a musician as bassist and keyboardist in a slew of Boston Bands.
Opportunity persuaded him to come to New York City in 2009 where he quickly emerged himself in the live performance scene as well as fronting his own band, The Deep Pink. Enthusiastic listening to all genres of music, Lex welcomes a variety of diverse artists to create music with, including recently working and collaborating with the fabulous Melody Joy, New York City DJ and Producer Afrodaumus, Brooklyn Indie artists The Deep Pink and Tory Hanna, as well as Broadway Composer and Entertainer Horace Turnball.
Tommy DiRocco is an engineer/rapper/songwriter from Long Island. He is a 2013 Studio Recording Technology graduate of NCC. Tommy gained his experience in the music field by recording and performing with his hip-hop trio, “Square One,” who’ve opened up for the acts of Action Bronson and Ke$ha. As a well versed writer and producer of hip hop, he provides high quality audio service. Tommy will make sure you leave with your project sounding nothing short of amazing!
Raymond Girtley AKA Xalent is an Audio Engineer, Producer, and Artist born in New Orleans, LA. Inspired by artists/producers such as DJ Quik, 9th Wonder, Mannie Fresh, Just Blaze, Alchemist, and Timbaland,he sharpened his craft of production by creating a style that’s smooth and melodic with a “bounce”. In 2003 he established “R.T.M.” Rock The Mic Productions. He began producing tracks for himself and other artists while being mentored by Mannie Fresh. By 21, he engineered some of the biggest recording artists in Atlanta like Gucci Mane, Andre 3000, Trillville, V.I.C., etc. He was mentored by platinum selling producer Riecco Delavega who helped to prepare him with not only the professional “Ear” for music, but also the industry. In 2010 Xalent moved to NYC and began working with multi platinum producers Ty Fyffe and Young Lord of Bad Boy Records, “The Hitmen”, Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Nicki Minaj, Fred Da Godson, Prodigy, Kelly Rowland, August Alsina and more building his brand and his resume. Tyquan “Ty” Gholson is a rising audio engineer in the industry, having that has at all of the top studios around New York City. Ty has had the pleasure of working with major artists such as: A$AP Rocky, YMCMB, Sara Bareilles, J. Cole, Ciara, Krewella, and many more. With a background in engineering all genres of music, Ty will make sure you leave with your project sounding amazing!
Mher Filian is a platinum-award winning writer/producer behind some of today’s biggest young pop stars, including Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, featuring Demi’s hit single, “Here We Go Again.”
Drawing from a wide musical background with influences ranging from rock to hip-hop to pop, Mher has a versatility that allows him to work with top artists across many genres. His work paid off when he was signed by Warner Bros as an artist/writer/producer and co-writing/producing the lead single/title track on Demi Lovato’s 2nd album “Here We Go Again,” which earned him his first RIAA Platinum award as well as a #1 chart position on the Billboard 200. He’s also worked closely with worldwide star Selena Gomez (“I Promise You,” “Live Like There’s No Tomorrow,” and “More”), earning 2 Gold Records and another 2 spots on the top 10 of Billboard ‘s 200 chart.

Catherine aka Cathia is an amazing singer from the Bronx, NY. Known as the “little girl with a big voice,” she is a graduate from LaGuardia Performing Arts HS(the “Fame” School). Catherine is a clasically trained singer, as well as a talented songwriter and musician. She has performed on many great stages around NYC, including the renowned Apollo Theate and performed for several Amateur Nights at the Apollo, taking first and second prizes.
In 2013 she made the ‘Top 16’ contestants on NBC’s Season 4 of ‘The Voice’ Team Usher. Currently, Cathia is working on her debut EP set to release late 2013 and is working hard at JAMBOX Entertainment as one of our amazing vocal coaches.

With twenty years of music industry experience as a songwriter, record producer and performer, Jess McAvoy brings an intuitive edge to her vocal coaching. Drawing on techniques acquired from performing in genres ranging from rock, pop, folk, indie and hip hop, Jess focuses on drawing the authentic inner artistry out of each of her coaching clients to garner the best and most suited results from each unique vocalist. The Australian native has been performing in New York since ’05, in venues such as the Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, and even at CBGB’s in its final year. Jess has been working as a vocal and songwriting coach for over eight years alongside her prolific career of thirteen records and multiple international tours.
