Jeannot Sossou

Jeannot Sossou is a singer-songwriter and film director from Togolese descent. Born in Senegal, he began singing at age 15 in the Saint-Thérèse choir of Grand Dakar. He moved to Germany, and then France, where he received training in sound engineering in Paris. Jeannot was signed by several record labels: Melodie, Cap-vert Musique, Virgin, Africa, Espace Musique. Today, Jeannot lives in the US. He created Jollywood Studio where he mentors young artists and produces films and TV shows about the trials and tribulations of West Africans in the US. Some of his most famous films/shows are Income Tax, US-Africa Love and Mbëgeel Du Fenn.
