KC Jockey is an artist who is hard to define. His style is a little bit ‘Kingston’ with a side of ‘Brooklyn.’ Part R&B, Pop, Soul & Hip Hop with a dash of reggae, KC Jockey was born in Kingston, Jamaica but moved to Brooklyn, NY as a young child. In 1997, Jockey dedicated himself to the studio, often working through the night to perfect his craft. The hard work paid off in 2000 when Jockey launched his own record label, Sweet Sadie’s Productions. In addition to releasing hit singles such as “Love in the Air” and “Rub Your Body,” he has also been appeared in feature films, was the spokesperson for Xtamina energy drink, and his song “Toast to the Dads” was picked up by Disney. Clearly, KC Jockey is the definition of a renaissance man. Click here for more from KC Jockey
