Mano
Mano, born Hermann Kabore in the West African savanna of Burkina Faso is a multi-lingual singer, based in New York City. He is the former lead vocal for the rap group “2 Kas” who’s hit single, “Ya 2 Kas” gained mainstream popularity within the country. Mano is well known for his thought-provoking lyricism, unique voice and style. With the group, he released his first album in 2003 entitled, “Anges le jour/Diables la nuit” which means “angels in the day/devils in the night” in reference to the political behaviors of some government officials in Africa. In December 2017, Mano’s released his first solo album entitled, “Renaissance.” He went on a tour in West Africa to promote, and is back in the US performing with his band.
