Cathy Palmisano has a great history of being the ‘behind the scenes operator’ for whatever type company she’s in. In 1989, Ms. Palmisano was instrumental in forming 501C3 based non-profit organization REACH OUT, Inc., who’s mission was to educate today’s youth to the perils of drugs, crime, violence and bullying. Later chapters touched on the awareness of aids, and breast cancer. The children were reached through unique music presentations, chats and demonstrations mainly given by President & Co-founder Lori Michaels.
From it’s inception in 1989, to the present, Ms. Palmisano continues to serve as the charity’s Executive Director. Due to the high level of Ms. Palmisano’s administrative work, commitment, and dedication, REACH OUT, Inc. produces programs and projects for and with some of the nation’s most noteworthy, charitable organizations. REACH OUT, Inc. has touched the lives of millions of people.
In 1992, Ms. Palmisano became Co-Owner and Administrative Director of JAMBOX Entertainment Studios.
She’s been prominent in the growth of the company from a basement ‘home studio’ in the Bronx, to the 3 room pro music entertainment facility now on Seventh Ave NYC. Ms. Palmisano has remained instrumental in managing, developing, and consulting the careers of chart topping artists and television personalities, including recording artist, Lori Michaels.
In 2006, Ms. Palmisano co-founded 4SIGHT Music Productions, a company that which went on to produce the classic album “Year Of The Cowboy” by NYC Times Square Icon, The Naked Cowboy (which had its television debut on MTV).
Ms. Palmisano started and currently directs the educational careers internship program at JAMBOX. Due to her efforts, JAMBOX Entertainment is considered “a top recording studio in the metropolitan area” by industry professionals.
Ashlee Chanelle is a 2009 honors graduate of the Institute of Audio Research, winner of their 2009 Best Mix Award of her class, and one of their featured alumni. In addition to her studies at IAR, she also took the Women’s Audio Mission SoundChannel and AET Audio Engineering programs.
Ashlee has had the pleasure of either mixing, editing, remixing, collaborating, or doing live sound for artists and performers such as Lori Michaels, The ViiBE Dance Center, curator Victor P. Corona, Lady Starlight (Lady Gaga’s DJ/collaborator), Jason Martin + Power Animal Systems, Andrew Barret Cox, Kayla Yvonne, Breedlove, producer Barb Morrison, R.e.a.P, B3B3′, Mitchell Royel, Zephrah Soto, Gabbie Giftsz, and more.
Alisa Smith is a musician and crafter who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry and Performance from Ramapo College of New Jersey. As a member of the international award winning choirs Skylark, CantaNOVA, and the Ramapo Chorale, Alisa has toured Guam, the Philippines, and Costa Rica.
Alisa has shared the stage with folksinger/songwriter Judy Collins, nine-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion Eileen Ivers & Immigrant Soul, and has performed for international ambassadors including the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic at the United Nations. She has also played clarinet in a variety of local and college theater productions. Alisa’s love for the arts and activism has lead her to pursue her Master’s degree in Media Studies at The New School University.
As a veteran Engineer in New York City for the past 22 years, Peter has worked with some of the best in the business including Sporty Thievz for which he received a Platinum Record credit to his list of accomplishments.
Other gifted artists include Krs One, Big Daddy Kane, M.O.P., Peter Gunz, Jin, Gangstarr, Don Omar, Young B, P-Star, Megan Rochell, MF Grimm, Brooklyn Zu, Webstar and Jim Jones to name a few. His studio training has given him the opportunity to work out of various famous studios such as Power Play Studios, Unique, Quad, KMA, Chung King, D & D, Soundtracks, Daddy’s House, Platinum Sounds, Sony and The Hit Factory.
JKey is a highly acclaimed producer, engineer, vocal arranger, and pianist. Many of his associated acts include Notch, Kat Deluna, Mya, Pitbull, Kumbia All State, Ilegales, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Reggaeton, niños, P-Star, Taio Cruz, DJ Kazzanova, Snoop Dogg, Big Pun, Rah Digga, Wyclef, Beyonce, Don Omar, Zion, Mario, D-mingo, La Republika, Prince Royce, and Andy Andy.
The genres of music he works with varies, from hip hop, R&B, Pop, Salsa and Bachata, to symphonic scoring, house, and techno. JKey is a platinum award winning producer, 12 times Billboard producer, and an Emmy award winner.
Tornel Degazon is a JAMBOX powerhouse Producer, Engineer and Beatmaker.
As a graduate of Full Sail University Tornel is driven by the motto “Hard work pays off” making his work easily stand out amongst the crowd of his peers. He is well versed in many facets of the audio world including, Production, Engineering, Mixing, and video Post-Production. He likes to focus on Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae/Dancehall and Pop music. His style has been frequently compared to his notable contemporaries such as Frank Ocean, Polo-da-Don and Timberland.
Producer, Songwriter and Artist Lex, is the newest member of Jambox’s production team. Based out of Brooklyn, Lex’s songwriting skills and creative production creates cutting edge music that is fresh and modern. Descending from Boston as a student at Berklee College of Music, Lex honed his skills as a musician as bassist and keyboardist in a slew of Boston Bands.
Opportunity persuaded him to come to New York City in 2009 where he quickly emerged himself in the live performance scene as well as fronting his own band, The Deep Pink. Enthusiastic listening to all genres of music, Lex welcomes a variety of diverse artists to create music with, including recently working and collaborating with the fabulous Melody Joy, New York City DJ and Producer Afrodaumus, Brooklyn Indie artists The Deep Pink and Tory Hanna, as well as Broadway Composer and Entertainer Horace Turnball.
Beatmaker / House Engineer / Keyboard Player
Beatmaker Mike Sabri, also known as DJ Sabri, is JAMBOX’s newest in-house beatmaker/audio engineer. Originally from Great Falls, Virginia, he has been composing his own beats for about 10 years. While attending school, he worked as a DJ at Bent Willeys, the largest nightclub in West Virginia, where he fine tuned his ear for today’s music. DJ Sabri then mastered the craft of beatmaking at Cue Recording Studios in Washington, D.C. He then moved to New York City to become a full-time music producer at JAMBOX.
He currently works with many up and coming local artists, recording, mixing, and composing original beats, making his magic happen right in front of his clients. DJ Sabri is a skilled pianist, with a very melodic and unique style, specializing in Hip Hop, Dance Pop, R&B and Electronica. He recently competed against many top beatmakers in the NYC “iStandard Producer Showcase” at Webster Hall and took 2nd Place.

Catherine aka Cathia is an amazing singer from the Bronx, NY. Known as the “little girl with a big voice,” she is a graduate from LaGuardia Performing Arts HS(the “Fame” School). Catherine is a clasically trained singer, as well as a talented songwriter and musician. She has performed on many great stages around NYC, including the renowned Apollo Theate and performed for several Amateur Nights at the Apollo, taking first and second prizes.
In 2013 she made the ‘Top 16’ contestants on NBC’s Season 4 of ‘The Voice’ Team Usher. Currently, Cathia is working on her debut EP set to release late 2013 and is working hard at JAMBOX Entertainment as one of our amazing vocal coaches.

ANN ANN is a classically trained singer and pianist, born and raised in Serbia, Europe. She started playing the piano at the age of five. Soon after that, Ana was sent to music primary school where she obtained both classical and jazz vocal training. She is currently working on her debut album which will focus on re-creating the meaning of POP.
ANN ANN performed and shared the stage with musicians from various genres and parts of the world: Tania Maria and Viva Brazil Quartet, Stereo Mc’s, New Young Pony Club, Jessie J, M.I.A, etc.
Vocalist / Vocal Coach
Born in Guatemala City in 1986. In 2009, she was invited to write lyrics and perform with the Istanbul State Orchestra in Turkey sharing the stage with Turkish pop legend Sezen Aksu and Burak Kut. Michelle has had the honor of performing with some of the most recognized names in Latin Music such as Juan Luis Gurerra, Joe Arroyo, Eumir Deodato and Issac Delgado.
Now based in New York City, Michelle is expanding and exploring her musical views which has led her to perform with Grammy Award Winner John Benitez, Axel Laugart, Ruben Rodriguez, Ricky Rodriguez, Luis “Luisito” Quintero, Marco Bermudez, Gerardo Contino, Ricky Salas, Danny Rojo, and others. She is currently writing and producing her solo album and is also a member of several projects including Obbini Tumbao, Mamboston Band, Bacharengue Orchestra, Manolo y su Curubande and Numasbala.
